Roads in life you've taken
They leave a path today
Upon our hearts forever
Your love won't fade away

For in our life so cherished
The thoughts and memories
Gathered like the rain drops
They fall so endlessly

Each of us now gather
The years we shared with love
Knowing that our Mom and Dad
Are joined in peace above

Walking in a garden
In precious fields that glow
Smiling down on all of us
As peacefully they go

Hand in hand together
No pain of life to bear
Soft the rain that falls on earth
This tender gift they share

Streams of life are endless
Reflections we will see
Memories all visualized
We hold so reverently

Not one day to pass us by
When we don't see the light
Power of your hearts we share
Such courage and great might

Today this special tribute
Through sun or storm or rain
Your children all now gathered
The hearts of you remain.

Within the clouds their dancing
Their special song "First Date"
Holding on with wings of love
This is now their fate
Dancing to their music
With love familiar sound
When we hear their special song
We know they're heaven bound.
