Each Autumn I will journey
Go back to yesterday
When I was just a little one
My basket I would sway

Gathered love for treasure chest
The one that's in the heart
Every leave had special glow
God's blessing of fine art

Oh I go back all the time
To places where I've been
Smile in dreams it always seems
I'm a little girl again

Happiness comes over me
Whenever leaves will fall
In my heart the colors there
God's Blessing on us all

Time has now just slipped away
Still Autumn will reply
Hear the quiet of the sleep
The earth now makes a sigh

Time to rest upon the hills
To watch the clouds so near
Breezes of the Autumn winds
Sweet memories premiere.
