There he was like yesterday
So handsome and so proud
Wearing clothes of history
Such glory sings out loud

There she was just glowing
Reading mail from me
Smiling oh so sweetly
Humming beautifully

Checking out our memories
In place we know is blest
Days of life of long ago
These treasures are the best

See her youthful beauty
It always is right there
Eyes of such devotion
They penetrate sincere

Wink that he just gave me
It's so like long ago
His smile that sweet obsession
That love I'll always know

Thoughts in life are passing
But always we will share
Precious time shall linger
Our youth forever there.
