~ While You Sleep ~

While you sleep your spirit flies
Along the mountains high
Captured in the draft of wind
An echo sweet with sigh

Sleep on winds that radiate
Scents of beauty rare
Floral bouquets cast about
On clouds of precious air

Breathe in rhythm to the sound
Of softness and sweet night
While you rest my spirit nay
Such restlessness in flight

Alone among the mountains tall
I wait for your return
Silhouette of single soul
Sadly hears nocturne

Wake now spirit please arise
My soul now sadly roams
Looking for the beauty of
The heart that is my home

Now you're stirring I can hear
The winds begin to play
Song of spirits cast in wind
Our souls joined in new day.
