Tashima Billingslea, 7 years
of age was murdered
in a rampage by her mother on July 26, 2002.
It is alleged that the mother Yolanda, 30 killed her
while she was in a rage from drugs and then
attempted but failed at committing suicide.
Tashima was in a program for "gifted children" and she
had just learned to jump rope.
Another senseless
murder of a child. Tashima was a
resident of
Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn, New York.
