No matter where in life you are
You're always near and never far
For love it seems is always found
With courage that is honor bound

So while you are so far away
We think of you and always pray
That Angels will be standing by
Sending breezes from the sky

Protecting you with wings God sends
With love for you that never ends
Every night you rest your head
These Angels standing watch instead

Within our life your sacred pledge
To guard us all while on that ledge
Seeing danger always near
Standing firm and very clear

Heroes now with shadows tall
Standing firm to guard the wall
This glory that in life transcends
Each  solider is our life long  friend

So Christmas comes but once a year

And yes, we truly want you here

But in our hearts you'll always be

The glory that shines endlessly.
