Always looking up to you
No matter where you are
A wish ~ a breath of energy
You're never very far
The years are filled with moments
That fill our hearts and minds
That gather through the seasons
That travel through life's time
A word that you have spoken
A time in life you shared
Are captured in the essence
Of all in life who cared
A mother or a father
A sister brother son
An aunt or uncle tells us
Your spirits live as one
A friend and all relations
Who make a gentle path
Are looking towards heaven
To see the road that lasts
So years in life continue
And pain it comes and goes
But joy in all your memories
Continue in life's flow
For you are all the keepers
Of love that never dies
The joy in all that matters
As each year passes by
And yes your names are written
On every cloud and star
And whispered in a chanting
"You're never very far"
We carry on together
We walk within your glow
We hear the words that echo
We truly loved you so
And so it is the moment
That captures all life's time
Creating such a masterpiece
That fills the heart with rhyme.
