This is where I want to be
Sharing life in harmony
You for me and me for you
How can our days be sad or blue

Sharing love with more to spare
If you need me I'll be there
This is what I love the most
The two of us forever close

Cup of kindness we will share
Love's compassion always there
What greater gift in life than this
Two of us will reminisce

Remember on that stormy day
Asked if things would be okay
You looked at me and gave a grin
Gave a sign to "lift my chin"

Since that day I knew we'd be
Friends for life eternally
Surely we're the perfect pair
Both an answer to life's prayer.
