These golden years forever
Within my heart will stay
Laughter that came naturally
Lasts until this day

Softness felt within your touch
I feel it on my hand
So much joy in sharing this
Our life together grand

Books we shared on special nights
Each word I hear them now
Could it be we're all grown up
Those years went fast somehow

Turn around and close my eyes
But yet we are the same
Memories that last with love
Forever shall remain

Eyes are tired as I sleep
I close them you are there
Still it's just the two of us
No greater love compares.
