My name's Ethel and this here's Fred
I finally got him out of bed
He just hangs out every day
Drives me nuts with life this way

Truly this is one big mess
I'm tired worn and just depressed
I try to move him all day long
I listen to him humming songs

Stands all day just yaks and yaks
We need to get these nuts all packed
He smiles and says oh it's okay
We'll do it on another day

What's a wife like me to do
I'll pack the nuts and we'll be through
Come on Fred now please lets go
You've really put on quite a show

Winters coming can't you see
Get those nuts up in that tree
Sorry that we met this way
Fred's a nut what can I say.
