While I was walking by
This little one of nature
So sweet and cute and shy

Seemed to just be waiting
So I could get a peek
Just so much perfection
The timing so unique

Didn't seem to mind much
That I was standing there
What pleasure just to capture
This special gift so rare

Perfect little creature
That paused here just for me
Made my day so happy
This moment was to be

What a perfect treasure
This little creature gave
Warmed my heart today
With image I can save

Little one of nature
So glad you came my way
Forever I have captured
The smile I wore today.
