We reach out our hands
Each one extending
Life's friendship expands

With courage we breathe
Earth's special miracle
We all must concede

In sorrow there's pain
Happiness our special goal

Each friend is a treasure

For standing in darkness
We know who we are

Friendship's a given
The gift that we share
Each thread gently woven

Now joined together
