Upon His Robe they gambled
As darkness filled the earth
The Son of Man Our Savior
God's Shadow of our birth

Cross upon our forehead
The eye can plainly see
Love and adoration
His Light shines brilliantly

Sorrow in these moments
When lightening filled the sky
For all our sins He suffered
Our Gentle Savior died

Road to hill was battle
He waged with every step
The cross upon His shoulders
As tears of Mother wept

Within her heart she whispered
"My Son I love You so"
She felt His love upon her
The shadow of His glow

And so it is the season
We all shall seek and find
The Shadow of God's Glory
His Cross for all Mankind.
