Dearest Father up above
You gave Your Son in special Love
To walk upon the earth and share
With love the Heaven's opened here
The Son of God has come to be
The Giver of life's registry
Upon the earth His Heart in bloom
He filled our hearts with love consumed
With sacrifice beyond all giving
He gave His Life for all the living
To free us of the sins we bore
Dear Jesus all our hearts in awe
You died that day to show us love
Your Heart the gold that we speak of
That glitters in a Morning Light
In every dawn of Love so Bright
I bow my head in "Glory Be"
That you did die to set us free
To feel the glow of special grace
My heart is touched with golden lace
A pattern that goes on and on
In weaves of gold Your gift upon
A tapestry that's always giving
Throughout our life each day of living
We think of sacrifice and pain
The love You gave it shall remain
My eyes are lifted to the sky
Thank you Jesus ~ God on High
Each step You took has not been broken
Our hearts all filled with such devotion
For You are here in every way
