He stepped out of the darkness
He brought Life's Greatest Light
Upon the world a glowing
The power of His Might

With Eyes straight up to Heaven
The sky was bright that day
Clouds of lace had gathered
In magnificent display

Wings of angels flowing
The scent of flowers fell
Upon His Feet and Hands
The scars were there to tell

The Son of God now Risen
As it had been foretold
Sand that showed his Footprints
Were glistening with gold

Walked among His Children
His promise had come true
Showed His Heart of Passion
Three days of rest were through

This Day of Might and Glory
From just a simple Man
Brought to us from Heaven
Upon this earth God's Plan

We celebrate His power
We feel His tender care
He Walks with us forever
His Footsteps always here

So walk with Him beside you
He'll take away your pain
The dawn of new beginning
His Love for us remains.
