Slept within His Mother's arms
As Mary slept there too
Angels played a lullaby
With love and gratitude

Grateful for His presence
Here upon the earth
Child of Love and Beauty
Our Father's gift ~ His birth

Great the Love within our heart
Sweet beauty of this sight
Mother and the Child of God
They share this gentle night

Held within Each Other's Arms
Angel's played their song
Miracle of special Love
Within our world belongs

Christmas night the angels came
Such grandeur in this sight
Mary slept while Jesus felt
His Mother's heart's delight

So on this very Sacred Night
With Mother's heart combined
Close to Heart of Baby's love
God's Blessing for Mankind.
