Stars were twinkling brightly
As night was filled with joy
Baby Jesus came to us
God's precious Baby Boy

Born on earth to Mother
Who loved beyond compare
Her gift from God the Father
For all the world to share

Angels started singing
Star was gleaming bright
Upon this humble stable
Magnificent this sight

Shepherds all had gathered
All creatures came to see
Bowing down to Jesus
They did this reverently

Somehow they all knew that
A special light did shine
For all of life's humanity
His gift of Love Divine

And so it has been written
In sacred words foretold
This Little One Delivered
Our Glory to Behold.
