Joy and special wishes
Candle of good cheer
Merrily she gathers
Love for you this year

Presents by the handful
Joy that she is done
Santa all excited
Time for him to run

Sitting by piano
He has to leave her soon
He plays a song of Christmas
She hums the special tune

The love they share is endless
His heart so big and gay
Each time that he leaves her
The candle lights his way

Each and every Christmas
She has to say good-bye
Then she does remember
Every reason why

Heart of love so gentle
It fills her heart with glee
Sends him with her blessing
He smiles so merrily.
