A child is such a precious gift
The innocence so pure
Held within a mother's heart
A blessing that endures

A lonely urchin in the street
That has no where to go
Was once a part of mother's arms
Then love lost special glow
 
Desperate hearts so lost for now
Need kind and loving hand
Reaching for the heart they need
Love walks into their lands
 
Doesn't matter what their sin
He only sees their eyes
Filled with sorrow and with grief
They always hypnotize

Give him strength to let them know
The value of their worth
With just one word a miracle
A child will have rebirth
 
Oh give to me your poor and weak
So I can give you peace
That you will know that in this life
Someone could make pain cease
 
A heart that reaches with a smile
A soul who's spirit flies
Will gather all the life's beauty with
A heart of love that's wise.
